A charming B&B in Jamaica, Joslin's Gardens is home lush native flora (and fauna) which I researched, looked at photos, and then drew onto this apron is a collage format. I chose dyes true to the colors of the flowers and tied sections in shapes of the same. After the dying process, acrylic paint was applied to accentuate detail and add depth. The establishment's name was the last item of artistry to adorn the apron. All painted pieces are machine washable.
